Adjacent to the Mission Viejo Animal Care Center, this freestanding facility provides after-hours emergency care in the South Orange County area. The project required special approval as a "public-use benefit". This 3,950 SF hospital's design includes an inviting lobby that incorporates a built-in saltwater aquarium and subdued lighting to promote a sense of trust and compassion. A spacious Central Treatment Area was designed to maximize efficiency, while providing ample space for circulation and comfortable use. Because of the long and demanding hours associated with emergency services, special accommodations are provided for both doctors and staff alike.
