Perched on a hill overlooking a busy commercial thoroughfare, the 10,200 SF Newton Veterinary Hospital made a bold statement about how far contemporary veterinary medicine had progressed toward the end of the last millennium. The curved roof over the waiting area allows natural daylight to flood the space through clerestory windows on three sides. This facility with seven exam rooms also contains two surgical suites with two surgery tables in each. The treatment area consists of two minor surgery tables and two surgery prep tables, all of which face a glass-enclosed ICU. The hospital also provides for a separate, custom-designed dentistry suite as well as canine and feline boarding, grooming, and a retail area.
