As an outgrowth of the famous Regina's Pizza, Slices was designed as a prototype eatery to be franchised and replicated throughout New England and beyond.
The fundamental design objectives were cleanliness, efficiency, identifiable "signature" details and a recognizable architectural "vocabulary".
Featuring breakfast slices, lunch slices and dinner slices, these individually packaged, gourmet, "personal pizzas" soon became a novel alternative to the commonly available fare.
